Notes on Utah

  • Unofficial results from the Utah Lieutenant Governor's official results site (electionresults.utah.gov) JSON API. Utah votes mostly by mail and counting continues for days; totals will change.
  • Utah's 2026 congressional map is new and court-ordered. District numbers do not match the 2022-2024 districts: e.g. Blake Moore (formerly UT-1) runs in the new UT-2, Celeste Maloy (formerly UT-2) in UT-3, Mike Kennedy (formerly UT-3) in UT-4. They are marked incumbent: true because they are sitting House members. The new UT-1 (Salt Lake County based) has no incumbent; Burgess Owens is not on the ballot.
  • pctReporting is null: the source gives counties reporting (UT-1: 1/1, UT-2: 5/5, UT-3: 19/19, UT-4: 7/7) but not a share of expected vote.
  • UT-1 includes 40 votes for a qualified write-in candidate (Babak "Bobby" Darvish, listed by the source as Unaffiliated), recorded as party I like the other Unaffiliated candidates.
  • Party mapping: Libertarian (L); Unaffiliated (I); Independent American and Constitution (O).
  • Calls: UT-1 (McAdams) and UT-3 (Maloy) reported as AP calls. UT-2 and UT-4 are marked uncalled because I found no published projection naming those races. NBC's Utah page showed 2 R, 1 D and 1 uncalled without saying which race was uncalled.
  • UT-02: CNN projected the R winner by 2026-11-05T17:35:47Z; the Polymarket-odds call was replaced with CNN's projection.
